I did really enjoy the book, it was sinister, full of mystery and teenage obsession. I read this in one sitting and will definitely read it again.
Louisa joins Temple House, a catholic boarding school, where she meets Victoria and Mr Lavelle. To Louisa, Victoria and Lavelle are an escape for her and she quickly becomes a part of their lives and obsessions It’s no longer Clear what she can believe.
It’s beautifully written and so intense. I could imagine the story really clear which I do find difficult sometimes. It was very true as it resonated with me and my school experience wanting to fit in with everyone to the point I lost myself.
It really is a very dark book and you want to be able to read it quicker than you are!
