Hard times in Dorset
This book is the sequel to The Last Hours which sadly I have not yet read but will now look out for as it should be a very interesting read if this book is anything to go by.
The cover immediately attracts ones attention and says "pick me up and look through my pages" which I did.
I found the maps and extracts in the front of the story extremely interesting as I live in this area.
It then gives a list of Places, people and events from 'The Last Hours' which I found very helpful not having read the first book.
The story starts in the Autumn and Winter of 1348 and ends with an extract from a private journal kept by Lady Anne from April 1349.
A truly wonderful and enthralling read that captures all that this era in time threw at the ones living through it.
