I have to say I didn’t realise that this was a sequel, and didnt realise until much after having alresdy started it. So I put it down got a copy of the first book and read that, which i really enjoyed and found interesting. I did enjoy the story and characters and was looking forward to the sequel.
This book however I felt was a bit of a let down in comparison with the first. Unfortunately I just felt like the story was being dragged on for a little too long and I just felt less invested towards the end. Although I did enjoy the ending and would like a follow up of the characters, I would definitely prefer something shorter, more like a novella than turning into a lengthy trilogy.
Other than that i did wnjoy the story and would like to find out what happens next, I just do t want something that is 600 pages long.
