I thought this was a very interesting book, from the snippet I got on RF to reading the actual book and finishing it. I thought it had a lot of potential, not my typical read but I thought it was good for a political thriller.
I was interested to find out Gil's story and although I found there to be a lot of politics involved (which I don't know much about in general) I found it hard to follow but enjoyed the story overall.
Gil had to go to depths to uncover the truth and I found this interesting, uncovering secrets etc. However, I think this was just far too difficult for me to fully digest and get the full benefit of the book.
I do think it is really well written but I think it was just too 'real' and too many aspects that I am not entirely sure of so it wasn't my cup of tea which is a shame as I loved the snippet I got from here before winning the book.
I am glad I got to read the book and I would recommend to those I know would like the themes of the book.
