Wow! I was mightly impressed with this book, which has earned itself a place among my favorites. It's very fast-paced, however immersive in a way in which everything distorts with the protagonist's vision to feel slower. I like morally grey characters, and this book certainly has one, however, crafted in such an excellent way that you understand the choices he's making currently while still being annoyed at the choices he made in the past. While it seemed the events of the book were a political parody of reality, it wasn't predictable in the slightest. While trying to avoid spoiling the ending I will say that there were some shocking plot twists.

My only criticism is that it can be a little difficult to understand complex ideas surrounding taxes, pensions, and their loopholes. However, with a little research and perseverance, you really enjoy this thrilling tale unfolding.
