From the extract given, it's clear to see that this book sets up an immersive and addicting sequel. The dark plot and enchanting characters seem right up my alley and I'd love to delve into this fantasy. From the success of The Cruel Prince and how anticipated this release seems to be, to how gorgeous the cover looks, this book definitely seems like a great contender for a favourite read of 2019.
