I adored this book! Much like the other books in the series, I fell in love with this book very quickly. The paths that each of the characters take are well written and I love how the characters interact with each other, particularly the twins (even when they are saying nothing or very little).
Watching the relationship build slowly and experiencing the many turns and changes of emotions with both Jude and Cardan really kept what could have been a typical love story, interesting. They individually had a lot more depth than those around them imagined and Jude herself being constantly on the cusp of hating and loving the world she had known for much of her life.
The descriptions of seemingly small elements and interactions are not just glossed over and it’s easy to imagine the story unfolding before you. I cannot wait to see what unfolds next
