This book was great company for me on my recent staycation holiday. It was easy to get into, and after a great introductory few chapters, I really got to know all the characters and alternated between liking/suspecting them all in turn. The fast pace of the story was great, especially once the party had happened and things began to unravel.
A lovely few shocks towards the end (one of which I had guessed, but it didn’t detract from the suspense) and a brilliant finish to the book. The descriptions of the scenery and amazing house were an added bonus to the book. However, I have deducted 1 star because I did not like the last chapter, sorry.
My first book by Michele Campbell, but it won’t be my last.
