I really enjoyed this book, whizzing through the tumultuous times of Mrs Ford number two. You never really know who to trust and keep second guessing yourself as you read on. The groundwork is very thorough and sets the story up well, introducing you to the characters around which the title centres. My only gripe is that it was all over too quickly. After all the twists and turns, the resolution is very quick and tidy and just felt a bit rushed. However it is a throughly enjoyable read, your loyalty to the characters will switch with every character. The back and forth with the narrative means the pieces of jigsaw fit together nicely and you can keep on top the story! If you like generous crime, give it a go!
