This extract from the book was incredibly engaging, and I really enjoyed the plot. I have always been interested in mystery and this extract has the perfect cliffhanger. It has encouraged me to write such a positive review. The language used in the extract hooked me, and intrigued me to carry on reading; I was rather upset when the extract ended due to the engaging nature of it. I liked how the perspective was third person, but also described the protagonists emotions perfectly. I sometimes struggle to understand social cues, but the author’s detail helped me to understand the plot line very well. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in mystery and murder as it appealed to me (someone who is currently very interested by these topics). I hope that other readers get to read this book, as it felt like a stroke of luck to be able to read this.
