The synopsis was a great read and enticed me straightaway to read it but it was a bit of a slow start - a lot of descriptions and explanations before the fun started. However, once i got past that I couldn’t put it down.
It’s just a feel good book that takes you away from real life, and you get to see behind the royal family 😉
The suspense and mystery of the plot was really good and I do recommend reading it, but persevere past the first chapter or two before you really get into it.
The characters were interesting and they had their different personalities which was fun. They all brought something to the table.
Overall it was a really good story and S J Bennett did a really good job. I do also really like the cover of the book and it stands out and shows the comical side of the book too, and it definitely has the comedy effect when being read. Brilliant book!
