I have only read the first 2 chapters of the book, and I liked it, but I don’t think it’s a book I would continue to read. It follows Queen Elizabeth II and the happenings of Windsor Castle after an evening of hosting when she hears the news that one of her guests has died. But his death doesn’t seem to be accidental. It shows how such an instance could/would be handled by the royals.

I liked how this book made the Queen feel more relatable, how we got her opinions and we get to see her day to day life. However, I don’t think I would continue to read this book as I’m not the most knowledgeable on the Queen and the royal family, so some bits went over my head. Also I didn’t feel a real passion towards wanting to read further as it’s not a main interest of mine. For someone who is very interested in the royals, this would be perfect. Everything about this book was great, I just didn’t gel well with it.
