This book was everything and more. It was laced with humour and was a perfect rainy day read. I loved the Nancy Drew vibe it had and the whole uniqueness of the plot.

I loved how it almost felt as though you were spying on the royal family, and the several name drops in it. I personally am a massive fan of the queen, and this book (although fictional) made me love her even more.

The plot was fantastic - it allows you to think what sort of antics the queen gets up to in the palace.

The comedy between her and Phillip had me howling

“Lilibet, did you hear the man was nude?”
“Yes, actually, I did.”
“Strung up like a Tory MP. There’s a word for it. What is it? Auto-sex something?”
“Autoerotic asphyxiation,” the Queen said grimly. She had Googled it on her iPad.
“That’s the bugger.”

I mean from this exchange if you don’t want to rush out and buy a copy, then I don’t know what else will convince you!
