I read this book along with many other readers as part of THE Book Club read-along for October, split into 3 instalments and read over 3 consecutive weeks.
Whilst it's not something I would usually pick up, it was actually quite a light cosy read and a good escape from the awful realities of 2020 Britain! I think this is a book which would be more suited to a one session read than the 3 part format that I read it in.
The queen stole the show in this book, the author combined facts about her duties, official engagements, family events and razor sharp mind along with the fiction (?) of her secret super sleuth activities - If you love cosy mysteries this would be a perfect book to curl up with on a cold winter afternoon!
