I loved this book! It was a little clunky at first but once I got into it I couldn't put it down! All the characters were believable and the dynamics between people were so realistic. Her majesty herself was fantastic - I'd like to think that this is just what the queen is like in real life! The queen's shrewd mind and impressive knowledge of human behaviour meant that the whole thing felt so incredibly real. I can't fault the author on this at all - they painted this vivid picture that's so likeable that it's impossible not to fall in love with her. The plot itself was enchanting and fast-paced as well. Every character, every plot line, every dialogue was so well thought out and cleverly woven together. I'm really impressed with this book and will definitely be reading any sequels. This would be an ideal gift for any royal fan this Christmas!
