I absolutely adore the 'Her Majesty Investigates' series, they are very amusing and definitely do not take themselves seriously but are really well written.

Without the nation knowing the Queen is a keen and able amateur sleuth who has solved many mysteries throughout her reign. This current mystery is set at Windsor Castle when a visiting dinner party guest is found dead in his room. Was it an accident, was it murder? This is a classic style whodunit that follows Queen Elizabeth II and her trusted assistant, Rozie, who has just joined the Queen's staff and has no idea about her other role solving mysteries and murders.

Both 'A Three Dog Problem' and 'The Windsor Knot' are laugh out loud funny with hilarious conversations between the Queen and Prince Philip as well as other members of the royal family. I can't wait for the third instalment.
