The whole concept behind this book really grabbed me so I bought a copy. I love the idea of a 90 year old woman who is also the queen of England running around solving crimes after a cup of tea. I am however really struggling to read on and to get captured by the story. I am finding that the way in which the body was found may be too vulgour for the queen despite Sir Simon's best efforts when explaining to her how he was found. There seems to be a lot of politics within it too that I am struggling to get my head around and the flow just is not for me. I will try to read on as I have only finished part one so far but I am struggling with it. I really hope the story picks up and the flow improves as I imagine the ending to be really good and other reviews are very positive. It would be a shame to give up so early on however I am not sure that this book is one for me just yet.
