Very good easy book. First time reading this aurthor would deffiently recommend this book. The book makes you feel like you are there. Kathleen has a tough start in life but finds her feet and meeting a family on her travels that look after her when she is heavily pregnant and take her in. She falls in love with mrs masons son and they end up marrying each other and having another child together. Kathleen has been hiding a dark secret most of her life and the past tries to catch up with her buy a solicitor advertising for her and her husband sees it in the local paper where he hides this from Kathleen but comes clean later on in the book and it turns out her real father has left her some cash which is a big help to the mason family. But there is a problem mrs masons other son has strong feelings for Kathleen.
