Okay, this book is very different from the others by Stephanie Butland, and while I like her other books better, I still really liked this book. It was very clever and well-written, making me stop, think, reflect on my own life and ask questions about it - which is exactly what a good book should do. It really got me thinking and challenged what I thought I believed about myself and the world. Its a really important book because it shows topics like feminism from multiple perspectives, not shouting down other ideas but making you think about it in a different, clearer way. The characters were a little frustrating at time, but that is just because they were realistic, with faults just like any other human being, and this added to the authenticity and the novels message. I really recommend it.
