My immediate thought was Thelma and Louise. Read a little of the description and there it is ! I do however feel like this could possibly be a follow up. What if the best friends didn’t jump, didn’t floor that beautiful convertible off the cliff ? What if they took a different turn and drove on ? What if they did a u-turn and went back to face the music ?
