This was one of my Covid recovery reads and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thea and Denise are very different people but after a couple of brief encounters, start to enjoy spending time together as friends.

Both have important decisions to make about what happens next in their lives and a road trip with an alternative to a bucket it list (it rhymes) enables both of them to think about the future. Loved the sound of the rage room, where you can smash up items that no longer give you joy.

I have to admit that I identified with Denise more than Thea, and I enjoyed how the story evolved, as she tried to find her own identity rather than being seen just as mum or wife at home.

An enjoyable book about being a woman on a road trip of self discovery. I also enjoyed the ending, which was very different to what I had anticipated. Happy to recommend to readers of my reviews.
