Thea and Denise was a really well written and enjoyable read, and I'd like to thank Reader's First for sending me an advanced copy to read and review.
This is the second book by Caroline Bond I have read, and I have really enjoyed both of them.
This one focuses on Thea who is a seemingly confident woman, and Denise who appears to be a slightly downtrodden business woman and mother feeling trapped in her life.
When their paths cross, a friendship begins which ends up in them embarking on a road trip which has big impacts on both of their lives.
Both Thea and Denise were well rounded characters, who developed well as the book went on.
My only slight criticism is that the ending felt abrupt....but maybe that is simply because I was enjoying the book so much I wanted it to carry on.
I would thoroughly recommend this book, and will be looking out for more by this author
