Bilal and his wife Mariam have lived in the quaint village of Babbel's End for years. They blend very well into village life, making friends with the neighbours, being involved in the parish council, writing for the local paper and Bilal runs a successful accountancy firm.
That is until he wants to fulfil his mothers dying wish and build a mosque in the village. This announcement doesn't go down as well as Bilal hopes with some of the residents and it creates havoc in Babbel's End.
Bilal and his family are subject to prejudice and hate crimes by some and understanding and help by others. The village is divided until something happens that unites them again and they realise that there are worse things than having a mosque in the village!
