The title stood out to me more than the front cover when I seen this book. Although the cover equally matched the title well. The story was very easy to get into from the start to finish of the chapters I've read. It let my imagination run away with the story because it leaves a lot of mystery as to why the female protagonist is treated in such a negative way by her own family, what must have happened to get them to that stage where they don't even care what happens to her? The King's family seem a lot more sincere which borders the question are they genuine or is there something in it for them? If gives the impression the protagonist is in urgent need of an escape even if she is reluctant to leave. I am very impressed with this book and I would very much enjoy reading more of the book in the future. I love fantasy and magic, but it's nice to read from a royal storyline.
