I enjoyed this book so much more than I thought I would. The characters all have such relatable stories or traits that Pine Road could any road in the UK and Ireland. It has a little bit of everything in it which is great if you can't decide what genre is your favourite. It's, at times, laugh out loud funny, and other times makes you feel a little bit sad. It's slightly overwhelming at the beginning due to how many characters are mentioned and can be a little hard to keep track of but you mainly focus on the lives of three families. Definitely a book to read if you're a little bit of a curtain twitcher. Although all opinions in this review are my own, I would like to thank Corvus and Readers First for an advance publication copy.
