I really enjoyed this book. At beginning I couldnt figure out what was going on. It flicks between a few different characters & tells the story from their point of view. As the plot goes on, I couldn't tell if it was Jenni losing her sanity or if Destiny was as innocent as she makes out.
It delves into a troubled teenager in foster care & Jenni her teacher whose changed career from the army & thinks shes protecting Destiny.
They both clearly have issues as the story continues theres many twists & turns. Its cleverly written.
It touches on how a child can be groomed & not know. Also how manipulative adults can be when all she needed was love.
The ending was not really what I was expecting, so I thoroughly loved this. I think the writer ended it so well.
Brilliant!
