I loved this book! Everything about it was just my type of story.
I adora a ya fantasy and this was just great in my eyes.
I loved the characters and the way they developed throughout. Lira was such a fierce and dark creature at the beginning, forced to be a killer and to have no mercy, yet she does in fact feel, she has the capability to be compassionate. The way her world works and her mother rules her kingdom is truly horrific, I loved her character development aboard the ship and her struggles to understand the feelings she experiences towards Elian.
I just loved Elian.
The fate of one of their kingdoms rests on the destruction of the others, throw in romance, sirens and pirates what more could you want?
