This is such a well written and complex book that follows Trenton who kills her abusive army veteran husband an assumes his identity. This novel brilliantly evades traditional ways of drawing readers into a story and forces us to engage with the ideas that propel it: ideas about power, desperation, identity, creation and destruction. This does come with strong trigger warnings as well for abuse and sexual assault so i would be cautious of that going into this book. This is a uniquely written and sophisticates plot and a totally original storyline. This book and the author are totally deserving of the attention that this book needs to get. I have already recommended it to pretty much everyone i know who reads.
