I really liked the opening of this book. It instantly hooked me. The premise was also intriguing. The writing was clear, concise and precise and the voice of the narrator was likeable. I also liked how intrigue was threaded through every single page, the way the writers purposely doesn't reveal information to heighten the intrigue.
