I definitely give this book a 5 star because of how intriguing it is. I whizzed through this amazing book and it was truly gripping and kept me on edge. It is about a girl (Ellen) who is just going home on the train and meets a young mother(Kathryn) with her baby(Mia). Kathryn abandons her baby when going to 'receive a call' and Ellen is left with it. Going through a bag of supplies for the baby, Ellen finds a crumpled sheet of paper saying these 3 lines:
Please protect Mia
Don't trust the police
Don't trust anyone
The book carries on with how Ellen copes with the baby and much much more drama. The way the book was written and the structure really fit into the thriller crime theme and I loved it. With the different perspectives and the story cutting off at the most intense moments, it really drew me in more. I'd actually never heard of T.M.Logan before this book but I just wanted to say that I love it.
