I have never read any of Logan's work before but all I can say after reading this one is wow!
It totally kept me on the edge of y seat and I compulsively read this til the end.
Ellen Devlin wants a family and her marriage has just broken down.
One day while on a train a stranger comes up to her and asks her could she hold her baby daughter for just a few minutes while she takes a call.
But the lady gets off the train and Ellen is stranded with an unknown infant in her care and nothing but a baby bag and a cryptic message to take care of Mia and don't trust anyone, not even the police.
Little does Ellen know that baby is a vital piece of a terrible crime and her proximity to Mia is putting both her and herself in mortal danger.
Who is this strange child Ellen is developing a strong bond and affection with?
How is she as an innocent baby implicated in something she knows nothing about?
Only time will tell and Ellen is running out of that and places to hide with Mia.
