I was intrigued by this book. It is definitely the sort of book I would pick up and buy in a shop, so I was really excited when I received a copy, and could not wait to start reading it.
Ellen has longed to be a mother for years, but ever since her husband left her after years of struggling to conceive, she realises that the dream might never come true. She is travelling back from the fertility clinic when she is handed a baby by a stranger with no word of warning, and nothing to explain except a note that tells her not to trust anyone. She decides that although the baby is perfect, and she has the opportunity to take baby Mia home, she knows she must do the right thing and hand the baby to police and forget about the whole thing. Unfortunately, that is not quite so easy. Ever since she stepped off that train, she has been in danger. Turns out there are many people who don't want baby Mia out of their sight, and she might be the only person that can save her.
This book takes so many twists and turns, and I thoroughly enjoyed trying to piece the story together with Ellen and trying to decide who could be trusted. I really didn't want the story to end!
