I've recently discovered TM Logan and am hooked on The Catch at the moment. This one was my favourite though.

It all seemed a bit far fetched to begin with- what kind of mother would leave their baby with a stranger whatever the circumstances? As I read on, more made sense, but I couldn't help but feel that the main character was just a nosey cow who needed to mind her own business. This opinion didn't change throughout the book, but I understood the reasons for her actions and became invested in the story.

I had so many scenarios and predictions in my head for what had happened and what would become of the woman, the nosey cow and the baby, none of which turned out to be correct really, which was good as it kept me guessing right up until the end.

Have definitely found a new favourite crime thriller author as it was not too taxing and perfect for an after work read!
