Trust me is a gripping thriller from author T. M. Logan.
The story begins with our protagonist Ellen taking a journey on a train, and being asked by a complete stranger to hold her beautiful baby girl, Mia, for a few moments whilst she takes a phone call. The stranger disembarked the train leaving Ellen with Mia and a note tucked inside the baby bag. The note says,
"Please protect Mia
Don't trust the police
Don't trust anyone
What would make a mother abandon her baby like this?
What should Ellen do now?
"Trust me" by T. M. Logan is a gripping, exciting thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning until the very end. The characters are realistic and well developed and likeable which I thoroughly enjoyed as I have read many books recently where the majority of the characters are unlikable and frustrating making it difficult to really invest in the story or truly care about what happened to them. This was not the case here at all!. I did not guess the ending, in fact, I think I suspected most of the characters of being guilty at some point.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book!
