Firstly, I was quite disappointed when the book arrived because although the front cover was in perfect condition and there were no rips or tears on the pages. On a few pages there were ink smudges that must have happened in the printing of the book like on page 95 on some of the writing and on page 102 which was a blank page with inkspots.
I loved the book cover and the font chosen was easy to read but I struggled as I could not relate to any of the characters and because of the layout switching to and from Lottie and Nina it got a bit confusing. The book has a very well developed vocabulary, however the words used were so well developed that I had to stop reading and Google what certain words mean on multiple occasions, especially at the start. It was only around 250 odd pages in it stopped using as many difficult words so I could actually focus on the plot of the story, it dragged a bit as everything was a bit wishy-washy up until page 250 but after that it's quite interesting and the plot thickened and I became way more invested in the story but I just feel that a lot of the story didn't really explain anything important up until page 250, like it could have been explained a lot less up until that point and I would have still understood it the same. Happy with where the story started to go in comparison to the start though. Had a few theories past the 300 page mark. But was disappointed with the ending as I feel there was still a lot of unknown answers.
