With recent events in the United Kingdom the book feels very fitting to current times, and whilst the book was penned before such tragic events I think it would be interesting to read how the author will try to make the reader understand the situation.
The cover with the broken pavement and the strewn handbag is quite chilling given the kinds of pictures we have seen in papers recently as it's so realistic of such devastating situations and it really grabs me and makes me want to read it and find out about what happened and how many people were hurt and did they survive as well as wanting to see how it has an effect on the police officer investigating as that's not a side we see in the media.
