I wasn't quite sure what to think of Effie to begin with. She cam across as quite whiny and seemed to blame a lot of external factors for her mistakes. But reading on, I realised that what she feels is how a lot of adults feel upon leaving university, lost and alone. This book is so raw and real. Effie compares herself to all her peers online who all seem to be succeeding in life.We are all guilty of comparing ourselves to what we see online, and this book reminds us that we need to stop, as we only see the best bits. I think that this is a book that most people can relate to.
