I really enjoyed 'Victoria Park', as the story was very simple and the characters were part of a normal, modern life, living in a quite normal London borough. I really liked the different point of views from which the story is narrated, so that one has a fuller story from the perspective view of more characters.
The characters are built quite lovely, and the author describes them and their lives in such a way it feels like you live there with them in their houses.
I really appreciate how the author portrays Italian families and their food, other than the usual - pizza, pasta...
I love the cover: it is so pretty and the 2D vector drawings are incredibly nice and calming. The colour choice is absolutely brilliant and truly relates to the story of 'Victoria Park'.
The only thing I was a bit confused on how the acid attack didn't have a major role in the story than advertised in the blurb.
Regardless, I really enjoyed this book.
