I hate giving bad reviews
We Begin At The End by Chris Whitaker
Chris Whitaker’s latest novel “We Begin at the End” is his third novel. This time his thriller is set in a small town called Cape Haven in California and features a rich, atmospheric narration and a deep, character driven theme.
I really liked the synopsis, cover and first impression but I just couldn't get into this book. I found the characters and writing style really hard to get on with. It was quite unbelievable and I couldn't relate or understand any of the characters. I also found the twists very predictable.
I hoped it would get better the more I went on but after 3 attempts of reading it I had to walk away from it. I do hate not finishing books.
I appreciate the ARC from Readers First and I'm gutted that I didn't enjoy this book.
