I have finished this book in a few hours, glued to each page, despite not enjoying the writing style that much.
I wanted to uncover the dark secrets, to find a better place for Dutchess and Robin, to get Vincent our of his shell of sadness.
This is not a story that will make you feel good about yourself and life. This is haunting, sad and it doesn't get better. The characters are all broken somehow and it just feels like a overflowing cup of water that will fall to the ground and shatter in thousands of glistering pieces.
Sometimes you feel the desperation of the characters, you just want to go there and fix everything, and make everything be good again. I really like how real it felt, how raw the emotions were.
