So so good
I'm only giving this book 4 stars instead of 5 because it took me a while to fully get into the story. Once I was properly into it, I was hooked and so glad I persevered.
I felt extremely sorry for Duchess and Robin from the start. Even with Duchess's wild attitude and behaviour I really felt for her and admired her for being so dedicated to her brother and his wellbeing.
The children's journey was heartbreaking in parts, and I have to say that there were parts of the ending that I sort of predicted well before I found out. This wasnt disappointing though! Just the opposite.
I actually cried whilst reading this book! That happens very very rarely. Will look out for this author in the future.
