I have mixed feelings about this book. I absolutely adored it, it was a solid 4/5 for me, however I felt afterwards a little underwhelmed by the ending and consistency of the storyline throughout.
What causes a woman to up and leave her husband and two children one morning? Where does she go? That's what Helens husband is asking himself after she gets up and leaves one school morning. The book follows the lead up to that day, the current search for Helen and what Helen is up to now on her own.
It's not a thrilling book, you won't be shocked but it is a good read that I finished in one day. I was eager to continue reading, albeit not being a definite page turner. I would recommend this for a holiday read!
