Having previously worked in the third sector for environmental charities and done 1st hand ecological research in a number of countries, the moment the blurb mentioned that this was to do with environmental protests I knew I had to read this book.

I very much like the prose, and the use of short chapters and vignette scenes. I'm really interested to see how the relationship between Laura and Aslak will play out as she realises that he is potentially about to commit some horrific crimes for what he believes is the right thing to do, especially as she seems to be a character who - while not necessarily a perfectionist - really needs things to be a certain way.
