Enjoyable, but a slight disappointment

Having read and loved the three previous mummy books, I was super excited about this one, and would like to thank Readers First for an advance copy.
However, and I can't put my finger on exactly what it was, but I was left feeling slightly disappointed with this one.
Like the previous books it is set over a year, and follows Ellen and her precious moppets as they go through A levels, GCSES and driving tests with separate chapters for each month.....but there are 2 months missing, which was annoying and led to a rushed feeling ending. I also found some of the early months slow in places which is not something I've ever felt with the previous books.

Having said all that there were still plenty of laugh out loud moments, and overall I did enjoy the book....hence being upset by the missing months. Also, some fantastic new sweaty insults! It just for me didn't live up to my very high expectations.
