At the start I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this and I did indeed find it a very tough read.

The story focuses on Ross who is diagnosed with an aggressive yet rare form of eye cancer. The book follows the very important topics and follows some of the difficulties and treatments Ross has to go through. While dealing with his potential loss of sight.
However, it is empatheically written based on the author's own experiences of this, being through it all as an adult.

This book has been written so well, it is sensitive and moving and at times almost broke me. I really liked the structure and layout of the book, with the illustrations added which adds to the audience. I think this book is mainly aimed at young adults, but I absolutely adored it and feel it dealt with an extremely sensitive topic with empathy and sensitivity. I will be passing this one into my sons!
