This book is an inspiring read which I think is targeted at teenagers and young adults.
The story follows the life of Ross, who is diagnosed with an rare form of eye cancer. The book covers the difficulties Ross had to face. Personally I love books which are based on true stories- this book being based on the authors personal experience of eye cancer makes me really connect with the book. I’ve read many books about the main character dealings with an illness so I know the jist of most of them but I think this book would be quite interesting because I was glued to the pages and wanted to know what happened next! I also love the comic strips and illustrations , these make me feel as though this can also be a good read for young people as images can be understood sometimes easier than words. This book seems to really interest me a lot and I’m excited to read the rest of it!
