This book is such a powerful read. It is based on a boy called Ross, who receives an unexpected cancer diagnosis and follows the story of how it impacts his life.

He is just an ordinary kid in school, floating under the radar - like many of us do. But following the diagnosis, he is "the cancer kid", blending in and floating under the radar is no longer an option.

The story follows the reactions of those around him, from denial, to pity, to downright bullying.

As Ross comes to terms with the diagnosis, he finds ways of coping and dealing with the new way of life.

This book is worth reading as it shows a difficult time in Ross' life and definitely shows some lessons we could all learn from.
