I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The subject is very heavy but it is written in a really accessible way and I loved the bat pig comics. I realise the book is aimed at younger readers but I thoroughly enjoyed it as an adult and got through it really quickly. Ross is a great character, aswell as the a main story being about how his cancer treatments affect him and how particularly difficult certain things are to deal with as a teenager, there are also lots of other themes. These include friendships, bullying, misjudging people. I found the descriptions of how the doctors handled giving the diagnosis and describing the treatments really interesting. I liked that the author shared his own story at the end and what had led him to write the book. Overall a really good read.
