This is a story about a Detective Sergeant who has some personal issues and a woman who’s husband is murdered. They both have the same goal but are going about it different ways. There is a back story and a third party and it makes for a great story.
I would give this a 3.5/5. It was a good read. I read Don’t Make a Sound by David Jackson and loved it. I really enjoyed this but it was not as good as the last one. There was just something missing.
It was written well and kept me interested. The book didn’t get boring at any point and there was no unnecessary parts in there.
The way the story ended was really good. It has provided a resolution to this story but left the back story open for more books to follow. I will definitely read them and other work by this author.
