Sadly, I couldn't make it past the first few chapters of this book.
It opened with a clichéd start I've heard plenty times before, the police man coming back to work too soon after a trauma.
It just appeared to be the same set up as plenty of books that have came before it and I couldnt build up the stamina to continue reading after a few chapters so unfortunately I don't have much to say.
Nothing seemed relatable or understandable. The wife character seems fairly unlikeable so I frankly didn't rest care much for what could have happened to her. Same goes for the husband.
Unfortunately this genre needs a bit of a shake up. I'm sure for those who continued reading may have liked it but couldn't start.
